There comes a point when a pathology is readily apparent. Behaviors that seem odd and out of step with normal reasoning that common sense becomes a non-quality with these people. Things get complicated, however, when the those infected with this pathology find themselves in charge. In that position, certain directives are being "issued" that confirms everything people think about them. And get annoyed at the things people are being told to do.

A large colony exists in New York, City and State. The latest is the proposed ban on gas stoves. the latest in runaway environmentalism. That gets added to the switch to low flow toilets. less efficient washers and dryers and all sorts of other proposed adjustments and eliminations that will make life less convenient for people. It can be said that New York is blue as it comes so it is no real surprise that such lunacy could emerge here.

That being said, however, it would seem that neither Albany nor Gracie Mansion are not aware of the consequences of such a policy. New York restaurants almost universally cook with gas and one has to shudder at the thought of Sparks' Steakhouse going to electricity. However, one can consider that New York Hochul is probably a vegan so the fate of Sparks would be of no concern. 

New York is joined by California, Connecticut Illinois, or New Jersey, all Democrat jurisdictions and all with state leadership pursuing out of control green agendas Of course this would include the President and his war on fossil fuels. Collectively, these all represent policies that do nothing to enhance the standard of living for the American people. Inflation and high gas prices and all the covid mandates have all been deliberate attempts to assert control.

Clearly, these people are crazy and are suitable cases for treatment.
