(Bench Warrants. . .) Could somebody explain the constant need to re-hash or re-boot something ? In the entertainment industry especially, one vehicle proves profitable or is otherwise a hit so there is an immediate urge to replicate that magic. At times, that has resulted in success. In others, one could get a sequel that should not have been made. That is apparently what the new Night Court is attempting and what has been revealed so far seems that the new show will fall short. The original ran from 1984 to 1992 and starred Harry Anderson (deceased) as Judge Harry Stone. John Larroquette played Prosecutor and over-sexed weasel with a heart of gold, Dan Fielding. Eventually, after various cast changes, Public Defender Christine Sullivan was played by Markie Post (also deceased). Add Charlie Robinson as Mac Robinson, Stone's clerk, and bailiffs Bull Shannon, played by Richard Moll and eventually Marsha Warfield.
