There he been a question for the past years. Why did Hunter Biden have a seat on the board of gas company Burisma and how did his father, then Vice President to President Obama, got the juice to all but demand how a Ukrainian Prosecutor gets dismissed "or no billion dollars" or words to that effect. The corruption was already evident and Burisma and the now President was there to provide cover from prosecution. Ukraine has always been corrupt but it is now eliciting sympathy because if the Russian invasion.


Ukraine wants to join NATO. For President Bidem that would be a bridge too far. He is still sending weapons and over time the deadlier but he seems loath to provoke Vladimir Putin which Ukrainian membership in the Atlantic Alliance would perhaps instigate. That decision is curious with Russian, Putin's, troops on the ground.


If Ukraine is not joining NATO, why is Sweden ? With sponsorship from Turkey, Sweden would be joining Norway as the countries holding the Alliance's "northern flank." Against what ? The argument is being made that when the Ukraine gets defeated, and it still will, Putin will be turning west. Which is laughable on its face.


So, who is getting a seat at the table ? Not President Biden, who missed that dinner from the other night.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
