Scorpion Kings. . .

(Scorpion Kings. . .)

The "Scorpion King" was a real person. Before Lower and Upper Egypt united, King "Scorpion" ruled what was considered Lower Egypt. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson played the Scorpion king in two film outings, The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King. In the former, Johnson played a warrior that tried to conquer Egypt and failed. Defeated, he and what remained of his army were forced into the desert. On the brink of death himself, the Scorpion King made a pact with the Egyptian god of the Underworld, Anubis. Anubis gave him an army and the King did vanquish his enemies. However, at the end. Anubis exacted his price. He turned the king into a scorpion himself and imprisoned him in a pyramid.

The movie, The Scorpion King, however, where the Rock played a heroic Akkadian warrior, who adopts an orphan, defeats a tyrant and marries a sorcerer princess. Now, this not in the film. but one can imagine events that perhaps took place after. Say the orphan gets adopted by the Scorpion King and becomes heir to the Kingdom. But the sorcerer gives birth to a son, making him the heir. The Orphan reaches out to the Egyptians and they launch an attack on the domain of the Scorpion King, and the princess and the heir are killed. So, as seen in The Mummy Returns, the King launches the attack that failed.

Now, it should as no surprise that President Obama and President Biden have been at odds lately. Or, perhaps it would be more accurate that a rivalry has developed between the two Chief Executives. Obama is articulate. He can form a thought in his head. He has been at 10 Downing Street in London.

President Biden on the other hand has all the issues that are seen on TV. He has been losing to Trump in the polls. He has been under House investigations that could lead to his impeachment. Biden has been getting cross and impatient. He knows the situation he is in, but he is not seeming able to cope.

Two male scorpions usually duel to the death, especially if a female is involved. Who could sting the other to death ? That being said, however, for the two top Democrats to have a cleavage between them, especially with the state of the race, one can see what scorpion will prevail. It will be Obama to probably be the one to tell Biden to step aside.
