Will the "real" Joe Biden please stand ? Now, either the President is the one from the State of the Union speech, where he seemed "collected," so to speak, or he was still prone to gaffes and confusion as he was in Pennsylvania or New Hampshire. The question to be answered this morning is what Biden version was at the interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, who was investigating the President's own managing of classified material that was not secured and Biden had no reason to have them in the first place.


Robert Hur is before the House Judiciary Committee today to explain Biden's state of mind when he had the President. As one might recall, Hur did not charge then Vice President Biden who had improper custody of that material, but, because he "was an old man who was well meaning but had a poor memory." Quite a contrast to the more vibrant President at the State of the Union that has been universally hailed by the Left.


In the end, it was Hur's conclusion that the President was in possession of those materials and held them because of "pride and money." That the now President knew the law then. With the facts of the case now released, however, was it only the President's cognitive state that precluded Hur presenting the case to a jury ?


The Donald Trump case is different. As President, he was authorized to have his owns set of classified documents. Unlike President Biden, former President Trump had materials in his custody secured at the Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm beach. Yes, the property was raided, and papers were found scattered over the floor but Trump had a right to their possession. President Biden never did.


The story all along had been how Biden does not get charged whereas Trump could get jail time. Same situation but one all but gets immunity and the other is under serious legal jeopardy. But what the Hur testimony indicated before the Judiciary Committee today is that President Biden probably violated the law but he will be getting away with it.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
