It's all about the money and the effects it has. At times, it is not what was intended. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had all the New Deal legislation that did nothing to end the Great Depression. It was the Second World War that restored economic prosperity. President Ronald Reagan spent massively on the Pentagon but did not win the Cold War without a shot being fired. Former President Trump spoke to a crowd of some 100,000 on the Jersey Shore, boasting that he could flip the Garden State red. Trump should be more concerned that Democrats could turn Texas "blue," if Senator Ted Cruz (R) loses to liberal Democrat Colin Allred.


On his part, President Biden is not in as dire a strait as one would initially suppose. His stance on Israel is having a controversary effect but the so-called "uncommitted" vote in states like Michigan or Wisconsin have come back to supporting the President. Trump is going back into court next week, still to face Michael Cohen come Monday.


All that being said, people are still thinking that Trump could return to the White House because more people will have voted for him. That is not how things are done. Trump could have had a million fans on that beach or three. The disposition of New Jersey, like any other Democrat stronghold, have mechanisms in place with infrastructure to prevent any widespread Republican success. That would especially be true with regard to Donald Trump.


If Biden, or some Democrat, prevails in November, that will be the end of American Constitutional Democracy because the preference will be for the administrative state. By the numbers, those who profess this "preference" would generally be the ones from the so-called "Swamp." The thousands of bureaucrats from dozens of agencies rise and fall on the ability to keep their patrons in power. That are President Biden and the Democrat Party.


One more number that should be explained and is also disturbing. The Green New Deal is more expensive than the original.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome. Like with the Israel- Hamas war where the Biden Administration continues to press for an all but unilateral ceasefire on the part of Israel.
