The numbers listed of those at Trump's Bronx speech were closer to eight to ten thousand instead of the twenty-five previously stated. In any event, it exceeded the thirty-five hundred formally permitted. In the near term, before or during the Republican Convention in Milwaukee in a couple of months, former President Trump, the presumptive GOP Nominee, will need a running mate. Former Hawaii Congresswoman, Tulsy Gabbard had been discussed previously but whomever Trump selects, and whenever they go out to stump, the crowds in those events need to be as large as if Trump was there himself.


Will a Senator Tim Scott be able to hold the same rally in New York like Trump did ? Or Senator J.D. Vance ? What about Governor Sarah Sanders of Arkansas or even Kristy Noam from South Dakota ? Like the opening act for a headliner, would the numbers still be there ? And that would not necessarily be the VP pick on its own but any of Trump surrogates who might go to Austin, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, or San Francisco. It was decided early on that Trump's campaign, and that for the entire Republican Party is play in all fifty states.


While Trump and his "Trolls (as opposed to Biden Buddies)" are out in traditional Democrat areas, President Biden is becoming increasingly isolated and he might be replaced on the Ticket altogether. Depending on how he fares against Trump in the debate, will be telling the tale. Or, if Trump gets convicted next week. a likelihood in itself, the President might demur and say it will be beneath his Office to treat with a convicted felon.


Showtime has a program called The Circus, where three "journalists" take a unique view of American politics. They witnessed Trump rise, fall, and now a possible rise again. That is despite his trial and the expected verdict. Add to that, Biden's problems and how he might be removed in his own right.


Returning to the task at hand, what will be the attendance of a "Trump rally" if the former President is not there ? The whimsy one can embrace is if Ms. Gabbard is Trump's choice ? Can she go to the South Bronx or New Jersey ? How about Honolulu ?

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. (Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
