Tomorrow, President Bidem is set to announce he is seeking a Second Term. Most of those being polled, Democrats included, are against the effort.  Biden is in excessive years now and the clear evidence of his cognitive detonation is manifesting itself daily. The record the President has to run on is not impressive and indeed, all his green requirements have done nothing for the American people. But that was never the point.


Biden was told he could be a transformative figure. That he could be a critical part in a re-shaping of the country that would harken back to LBJ and his Great Society or FDR and the New Deal. Biden was told he could things further by being the first "woke" President where equity, diversity and inclusion, and all sorts of green measures, like his war on fossil fuels and American energy in general. The latest idea would be the plan to eliminate most power plants.


The question must be asked, however, if not Biden, than whom ? Democrat alternatives to the President might present some alternatives, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is one declared option and is currently polling at 14%, California Governor Gavin Newsome is seen the other realistic option. However, barring all that, then what ?


A Biden out of the race all but clears the field for Donald Trump. Last time, the Biden Campaign had an entire infrastructure, complete with some former DCIs and DNIs that was able to run interference and have the Hunter Laptop discredited. Now that those elements have been compromised, however, new approaches will be required to out-maneuver the former President, again.


Biden still has his allies and he can return to the basement and allow the same Big Three: Big Tech, Big Media, and Big Money to re-assert themselves. President does not have the option to not run again. There was a reason why Trump had been discarded. The safest choice would be for Trump to face Biden again, and lose, again. Now is not the time to take chances.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Or, in other words, relax. Take a breath. De-compress. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome. Like with the Israel- Hamas war where the Biden Administration continues to press for an all but unilateral ceasefire on the part of Israel.
