Most people are aware of The Tale of Brer Rabbit. As the story goes, Brer Rabbit is pleading with a wolf to not eat him and definitely not throw him into a briar patch. The bunny gets tossed regardless but it revealed that Brer Rabbit had been born in the briar patch, Exactly where he needed to be. In a sense, President Biden has just been thrown into a briar patch of his own. And, it is all a consequence of Trump's ongoing legal problems.


Now, no gag order from the judge has been issued. One does not need to be. Ostensibly the Republican front-runner will be consumed by this process and while he is meeting his legal "obligations" he will not be campaigning. The fiduciary obligations will eclipse even the $10 million that had been raised in short order after the indictment was announced.


There has been a patten whenever the former President is a target. Unmasking General Flynn forced Trump to fire him. The dismissal of then FBI Director triggered the Mueller Probe with senior Bureau leadership working to obtain non-legitimate FISA warrants. This has been the Democrat program all along and it has been used to great success.


Now, President Trump has been removed from Office but, as he is again running for the Presidency, he could not be allowed to engage in such activity un-encumbered. Distractions need to be introduced and this Trial of the Century is being designed to accomplish just that. The reality is that whatever charges leveled against the former President never mattered. A ham sandwich when one comes down to it.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. (Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
