Noah would have better luck stopping the Flood. Come Midnight, Title 42 officially expires and all the pent up demand south will move north in the tens of thousands. What border patrol there is will be overwhelmed in short order. As a consequence, the President has authorized the mass release into the interior. The process is called "parole" and is utilized when there is an overwhelming number of people to process and the expedient thing to do would be catch and release on a massive scale.


The President has promised chaos and that is apparently what is being delivered. People are to be re-assured by the fact that Biden has said that the border will be chaotic. It would have been better had the surge had not happened in the first place. But, "in the fullness of time," Biden and Democrats will have their motivations clear.


The phrase "fullness of time" had been used by the Vice President in one of her so-called word salad speeches. But it will be in this interval where Democrat goals will be brought to fruition. For some time, Democrats have been un-able to advance their agenda by the legislative process. The next option has been the use of the legal system, activist judges who rule on certain policies to advance causes that way. However, that has not been entirely successful either. That being said, the sure-fire way was to recruit new voters in numbers, that in the fullness of time, will be voting Democrat in numbers that will alter the ideological composition of the country, and allow for a more activist government.


Before that happy day, the millions who are here today and the millions that will come tomorrow, they will all need basic essentials. That means food. It means water. It means housing. It means sanitation. It means that the cities like Chicago or New York, the latter even considering erecting "shelters" in the middle of Manhattan. But the Island could prove too small, forcing these illegal migrants out into New York's suburbs. A prospect for which those residents are less than enthusiastic.


But, there only so many hotels, hostels, or tent cities that can be erected and only a limited time with which to place people, and their families. If the needs of these millions of people cannot be met ? What then ? Their expected enthusiasm for becoming good Democrats could be tempered. In the fullness of time.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Or, in other words, relax. Take a breath. De-compress. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome. Like with the Israel- Hamas war where the Biden Administration continues to press for an all but unilateral ceasefire on the part of Israel.
