Who knew that President Biden was one imbued with such technical acumen ?  A man of clear vision, Biden is envisioning a railroad across the Pacific to a terminus in the Indian, a distance of over 8,000 miles. Not even the Moon landings could compete with what will surely be the largest thing to be seen, not only in space but all the way to Mars.


One perhaps should have advised the President that both the Pacific and Indian Oceans are exactly that: oceans. With water. Lots of water. On the surface or an eight-thousand-mile tunnel, the concept is an impossibility. However, these would seem to be the days when the President keeps getting confused.


In time, Biden will fade as an issue. So will Jon Fetterman who is having difficulty with the Senate dress code, meeting President Biden in a sweatshirt and hoodie. That being said, the worse Biden gets, the more Vice President Harris, If faith in the President is waning, there is none at all for the VEEP.


There is a real concern that Ms. Harris could actually be elevated to the White House. Harris was supposed to be this transformative figure, the first minority Vice President of the United States. But if she was to have any substance beyond just a checked box, then she would have needed to perform. She needed to take control of the border. As nominal head of the American space program, she needed to make trips to NASA and promote America's return to the moon. These are just a few items. Perhaps she can use her "talents" to fund-raise.


Kamala Harris is the problem child who is not capable to assuming the family business once Biden gets retired, one way or another. If she does eventually get called "Madame President," will she be able to govern, both without that cackle and word salads ?

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome. Like with the Israel- Hamas war where the Biden Administration continues to press for an all but unilateral ceasefire on the part of Israel.
