Call it sins of omission. Former President Donald Trump received a seven-count indictment that came down from the Department of Justice. Unlike previous charges that have been leveled against Trump, the Special Counsel now is focusing on obstruction of justice, lying to investigators and even conspiracy. In the current documentation Trump apparently not only held certain papers and was not wholly honest and the DoJ has gathered witnesses that are coordinating testimony.


The timeline for the prosecution of this case will fail to reach as resolution before Election Day next year. However, when people start to vote, when Iowa happens, will Trump still be a consideration ? As President, he was impeached twice and now there is evidence that Trump actually broke the law and could be convicted and sent to prison. And if elected, Trump could conceivably pardon himself.


People can stop marveling at the unprecedented nature of this current episode. It is true that this is the first time one Administration indicts a political competitor and potential GOP nominee to face President  Biden again. Fortunately for the President and Democrats, Trump has proven predictable. All one had to do was wait and Trump would have given his opposition all the rope to hang him with.


But, what about Mrs. Clinton and all the documents she destroyed ? And isn't Mr. Biden facing bribery charges ? Allowances had to be made in those cases because they fit the broader Democrat Narrative. Trump was an anomaly. He did not fit and indeed was a disruption. This final isolation that is being imposed on the former President is now the opportunity for all the non-Trump's to rise to the occasion.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. (Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
