Aside from Neil Armstrong's triumphal landing on the Moon, July 20th is a date with a more sinister connotation. On that date in 1944, Adolf Hitler narrowly escaped an assassination attempt. At his East Prussian headquarters at the "Wolf's Lair," a German officer placed a bomb under the conference table. At the last moment, the bomb was moved behind an oak leg, shielding der Füehrer from most of the blast. His were probably ringing for the rest of the war. In the wake of this attempt, several officers committed suicide, like Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. Others were put on trial. These had been show trials in the best traditions of Stalinist Terror. The accused had no right to counsel or even the ability self defense. Those in the dock were harangued to the point of being exasperated.

Like Mr. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He was a witness on Capitol Hill before a sub-committee on the "Weaponization of the Federal Government." If one did not know better, one might think Kennedy was in the same dock as the ones who tried to kill Hitler. The name "Kennedy" is royalty among Democrat circles. One assassinated President, John F. Kennedy, an Attorney General and Presidential candidate in his own right, Robert F. Kennedy Sr., also assassinated. But, people still remember 1980 when then Senator Edward Kennedy posed a primary challenge to then Democrat President Jimmy Carter. So, Democrats on this Sub-Committee, that was discussing censorship in government, were attempting to censor Mr. Kennedy.

In his 1980 challenge against Carter, Edward Kennedy was never seriously dethrone Carter and get the Democrat Nomination and his nephew probably will not fare any better but the Democrats on the panel were impugning Kennedy's character. He has been known to not be fully endorsing vaccine mandates and in that, Kennedy is not alone. One could notice something else. There was almost a panic in this "interrogation" because that is what his was.

One can get confused. Biden will be the Democrat Nominee, again. Kennedy will not be debating the President. Biden is continuing to detiorate, investigations expanding the President's alleged role in family involvement with Burisma, and this is remarkable, he still beats former President Trump. Admittedly, if President Biden is more securely connected to a bribery scheme and House Republicans move to the next logical step ?

In that context, Robert F. Kennedy. could become one of these viable alternatives to the President. And that is why he wasn't feeling the love on Capitol Hill.
