It has been confirmed that the white powder found in the White House West Wing was cocaine. Now, this would be no rounding of the usual suspects but if there is a likely candidate, these things best be left to the imagination. That being said, it would seem that the President could be on something himself as his recent behavior can be called into question.


One can begin by defining "Bidenomics." Again. One would think that this would be a term of derision but the President is embracing the program as part is his re-election "strategy." Biden is apparently under the assumption that his policies are popular. And, honestly speaking, he in all likelihood believes it. Like he probably believes he actually did slash the deficit some $1.7 trillion, that he was able to whisper the other day. No such event took place.


The re-curing theme of Bidenomics is the absence of any growth, the imposing of taxes and regulation, and centralized planning. Not an attractive combination but Biden has no alternative. The Biden Administration cannot cut taxes. It cannot pursue any de-regulatory reform and it will not increase energy supply. Bidenomics is the best the President is willing to do, because, if he tried do more, he would lose the basic character,


A quick word about the Yellin trip to China. As Treasury Secretary, Yellin is a card-carrying member of the Bidenomics club. That being said, there is about as much cause for the Yellin trip as there is for the Secretary Blanken trip from a few weeks ago, which was no cause. Beijing and Washington are on two independent diplomatic tracks. China sees the U.S. for what it is, the major global competitor to the Peoples" Republic. President Biden, Secretary's Blinken and Yellin think China could assist in combatting climate change. Now, who's high ?

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Or, in other words, relax. Take a breath. De-compress. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
