How might one kill two birds with one stone ? Democrats have a problem with the Biden-Harris ticket. To be sure, the President has not had a good week. House Republican investigations have all but definitively connected linkages between Hunter and his various foreign income sources. Biden Sr. is on tape some 20 times discussing Burisma issues, an exercise to which the President has denied. That puts paid that father Biden had no dealings, business and otherwise. Therefore, impeachment by the House is all but certain. However, if Democrats want to lose the Biden albatross altogether, Democrats in the Senate. could join with Body GOP, to vote to convict. Biden would be the first Chief Executive to be impeached and then removed because Biden committed "high crimes and mis-demeanors"


A Biden removal would provide a clean slate going into the campaign season next year. President Biden is in a delectate position and this will assuage those who want to move on from the President. Convicting him out of the Senate would allow the Party to seek someone more viable like Kennedy, Newsome, or Whitmer.


Of course, the new Democrat person will also be needing to beat Donald Trump. Even with all his legal troubles, he is still tied with the President. Both men on fast tracks to the bottom and one will be getting there first. It had been suggested that Trump participate in the GOP Debate to expand his own exposure. Trump has maxed out his GOP base but if wants to appeal to segments beyond those numbers, and he will need to do so, Trump will need to be on stages, not just later this month but everywhere else as well.


But President Biden is still a drain on Democrats. If Democrats have the imagination to take advantage of Biden's misfortunes and thank him for his service and give him a nice gold watch and send him on his way. President Biden had been necessary for his time. Perhaps now, that time has passed.

(Half Moon Rising) The Soviet Union detonated its first nuclear weapon on August 29th, 1949. In a flash, literally, the American nuclear monopoly was ended. The year before, in 1948, a plan called Operation HALF MOON anticipated the use of nuclear weapons in any major conflict with the USSR. (Pathologies. . .) What is it called in the DSM 4 ? This is a series of codes used by medical professionals to classify mental disorders. What is a code for compulsion ? Or obsession ? A syndrome where logic gets replaced with intense emotion and an inability to rationalize common sense. That is what happens with so-called climate ac activists. And it is what is happening with Donald Trump. Those suffering from these conditions have a fatal fixation where their only vision is a myopic view where no other options can be considered. When President Biden was campaigning, he promised to end fossil fuels. People should have taken him at his word because there has been nothing else that has caused more damage to the economy than that singular action.
