(Embassies To The Son Of Heaven)

The so-called "Son of Heaven" has been a reference to the Chinese emperor as his was the position that had been granted mandate from the Above. His' was the divine right to rule. These days, of course, there is no Dynasty in the Forbidden City but instead Xi Jinping who is the head of the Chinese Communist Party. And he has been receiving "embassies" from the Biden Administration. The latest had been Commerce Secretary, Gina Romando.


As one might remember, Secretary of State Blinken paid a visit to Beijing some months ago.  That was followed by a visit from Treasury Secretary Yellin, who was seen kowtowing at the incident. Romando went asking what her predecessors had and that was stability and mutual security. The Peoples' Republic is not interested in either outcome and all these "state visits" accomplished was to display the weakness of Washington in its relationship with Beijing.


How can China not proper when the U.S. is committed to Bidenomics and green socialism. It has been remarked that recent legislation like the Green New Deal, the American Rescue Plan, and the Inflation Reduction Act the combined effect of which was to force the country off fossil fuels whether it wants to or not. There is a concurrent attempt to de-industrialize. That us why the President wants to ban those appliances he has mentioned. And this morning, the Labor Department announced 187,000 jobs were created last month. Added to that, previous months had to be revised downward in a significant amount.


In the President's mind, however, this report was superlative and employers from union shops need to guarantee a so-called "living wage." That is more cost and in an increasingly non-steady economy. The same can be said for China. Beijing has been experiencing its own economic problems. But Premier Xi has been under no illusions about where his country stands with regards to what is its greatest rival.


In the minds of the Biden White House, and its climate change obsession, its own climate goals will not be met without the active participation of the Peoples' Republic. Biden is fighting a war on fossil fuels, on convenient appliances, and thinks his approach of Bidenomics is working. Well, that is at least one.
