It is always a bad idea to give oneself away. To inadvertently admit guilt. That is apparently what Hunter Biden has done. Junior has brought suit against the two IRS so-called "whistleblowers" whose previous testimony indicated, for all intents and purposes, that Hunter played fast and loose with the tax system. Which is a crime. What the witnesses did was to say the younger Biden broke the law and. by virtue of these suits, Hunter himself is saying as much. In other words, "guilty as charged."


As one might have heard, the President is traveling to New York for a visit to the U.N. General Assembly. More importantly however, Biden will be attending a "Broadway for Biden" at a $1500 "plate" gathering. The anti-Trump venom was palpable because it will be the people in that room, Lawyers for Biden are having their fundraiser tomorrow. It will be these people that are pledging their millions to see Biden,. or whomever, returned to Office, regardless of cost.


As previously stated, however, a Biden re-election has become increasingly problematic. The President has a record now but it is not necessarily one to run on. The President made assumptions at the beginning of his term that he and that friendly Congress and that is why so much damage has been done. Like the alienation of the UAW, who have just announced a probable expansion of the strike to cover remaining Big Three assembly plants. That could have devesting consequences for the economy.


It would seem ironic that the most "Union friendly" President has embarked on a path that will, in the end, by and large, end the employment of all those on the line now. For the sake of his vanity and mis-placed priority, is the President truly willing to make those striking auto-workers the price of his obsession to attain an all EV future.


Speaking of evidence of wrongdoing, one need to step beyond those elite doners who, truth be told, do not see the consequences of Biden's actions. They will miss New York's homeless problem and all the illegal immigrants that still have to be housed. They are probably not familiar with high gas prices. Or, and this could also be said about the President, they do not care.


The Biden Administration has always been an Ivory Tower or wants to be seen as such. A high edifice where the elites can prosper independently of conditions elsewhere. These people feel endowed with superior reason and, by extension, superior judgement. As a consequence, any opposition cannot be tolerated. It is then acceptable to let the UAW whither on the vine. To allow unfettered immigration. Sacrifices have to be made in the name of the greater good.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
