The lions, the tigers, the bears, oh my !

Today is being called the United Nations International Day of Peace. Peace of what ? One need just look at the world today and see that "peace" is the furthest thing on anybody's mind. Leopold, North Korea's Kim Jong Un, took A trip in his armored train, to Moscow to visit with Russian President Vladimir Putin and adding his country to the growing list of a China-Russia-Iranian and the DPRK Axis as a foil to the traditional West.


This new alignment, this New World Order, was, ironically, a creation of the very West that began to not act in its interests. It allowed its obsession with climate change to consume its leadership and engender policies that are clearly contrary to its public good. In the Unted States alone, virtually every economic condition experienced by people has been a direct result of choices made by the Biden Administration and, for a time, its friendly Congress.


It was never a question that there could be any alternative. In what world would an arrival of some ten thousand illegal migrants crash the Eagle Pass crossing desirable ? How many of these people will end up in New York City or other locals and stressing those systems even further ? The term Sanctuary City takes on new meanings when it is taken literally, 


How is it desirable to pay off Iran some $6 billion as a hostage ransom ? As a terror state, still in pursuit of its own nuclear weapon with all but with the tacit approval of the Biden Administration. Traditional allies like Israel or Saudi Arabia, who might need its own nuclear program in the wake of Tehran's intentions.


The debilitating effects of green policy in the West are placing it at a dis-advantage compared to the East. Over the centuries, there has been a natural tension between the Oriental East and the Occidental West. Western Civilization began with the ancient cultures of Mesopotamia and Egypt that advanced to ancient Greece, Hellenistic Greece, Rome, and then the advancement of Western Europe, the discovery of America with the eventual hegemony of the United States.


All that might be coming to an end. China has been referred to as the Yellow Peril for some years now. And it wants to replace the U.S. with a hegemony of its own and the West is letting it happen. That is why Leopold, embracing this new global order, went to the zoo.

TEQUILA !

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Or, in other words, relax. Take a breath. De-compress. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome. Like with the Israel- Hamas war where the Biden Administration continues to press for an all but unilateral ceasefire on the part of Israel.
