There is a phrase used here quite often that is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. President Lincoln is one source, British Prime Minister Churchill is another, Now, in the wake of the Isarel-Hamas War, with thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrations being held all over the place, the Arab Street is getting inflamed itself, Secretary of State Blanken is in the West Bank speaking with the leader of what was once the Palestinian Liberation Organization. The common thread of all these actions is that they being taken out of context.

One can be assured however that IDF operations will remain un-affected, ignoring calls for a pause or any interruption to its time-table. Are innocent Palestinians being killed  ? Yes. There are. But the difference is that Jews last October 7th were killed by acts of cowardness. Israel is waging war and, in that context, is no different than any other conventional campaign in the past. That being said, people should be more aware of the realties on the ground, instead of getting filtered, if not flawed, information from TikTok, courtesy of the Chinese Communist Party, which supports Hamas.

Protesting is a God-given right in this country and it that it is unique. In other words, people can assemble by the tens of thousands across the world and blatantly display their collective idiocy. But when pressed as to the details as to how far any of them would go, like would they kill children themselves, or should all non-Muslims be "put to the Sword," their answers invariably change. Why ? Because the concept had been put into context.

The proper "context" the Biden Administration needs to placing things in how to assist Israel. The wiggle room is gone and the hope that some type of pause or cease-fire needs to be abandoned. The President has been placed in serious political jeopardy with his apparent ambivalence towards the Jewish state or more of his focus on Ukraine.

The whole picture is seldom easy to achieve. There are opinions on this topic or that and almost always at variance. But if the objective is "truth," then what emerges has to be placed in context. That is not what has been happening. A view beyond narrow definitions is required and until that gets more broadly applied, one will continue to see people who should have remained silent. Now, they are all looking like fools.
