Everybody looks to a second chapter, a continuation of the story. Sometimes, however, the story writes itself. Outcomes become pre-determined, or there is a preference on how the story ends. What are the next steps of the Israel-Hamas War ? Between that and Ukraine, which war gets funded ?  Is President Biden closer to being impeached ? What is going to happen when that fresh caravan 5,000 strong reaches the open border ? One can only hope there are no terrorists in the group !


Israel has said that its current decimation of Hamas in Gaza will prove a marathon and not a sprint. At the end, whenever that might be, either Israel survives, or it doesn't. The Hamas representative, giving a comfortable interview in Doha, Qatar, stating that the goal is the complete destruction of the Jewish state. So, why would it halt operations now ? Maintaining a tempo against Hamas is essential. That being said, why would Jerusalem accept a pause now, much less a cease fire ? That would only benefit Hamas that could re-constitute in such  a cessation of activity. So, what comes next ? Let Israel take the fight to the enemy, in Gaza, in Lebanon,, even a tangle with Iran. President Biden can watch and he can convene a task force to discern the causes of Islamophobia while it is anti-Semitism that is the problem. Eschewing Biden's counsel, the Israeli Defense Force is penetrating Gaza City itself.

 
Clearly, President Biden has no appreciation of Israel's reality. It has been he who is encouraging a pause in the fighting, which could be catastrophic for the region. But he is forever the politician. His Islamophobia initiative could save Democrat votes in Michigan. Biden wants to bankroll both Israel and the Ukraine though the House is only looking to fund Israel.


What are next steps in Biden's impeachment inquiry ? Cancelled checks is indicating that the President, when he was still Vice President, received some $40,000 in laundered Chinese money, making a grand total of some $240,000 in funds, courtesy of Biden Inc. As the impeachment inquiry is on-going, as evidence such as this accumulates, moving towards an actual impeachment could increasingly become probable.


Also, the President just signed an Executive Order on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence. In what should be a more free exploitation of the technology, Biden's order would seek to regulate the process across the entire government, in other words, enforcing equity in these regulations. That will have the effect of dampening the potential development of AI for the private sector and limit its own expansion.


Artificial Intelligence is indeed a "next step." Israel will proceed against Hamas un-abated by diplomatic machinations from the Biden Administration, which will be needing a new strategy in navigating a broader war where U.S. involvement is inevitable. There should also be a serious backlash against the anti-Sematic demonstrations that need un-equivocally to be condemned.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
