Everybody needs to know the basics of American civics. What is the structure of the American government ? What are the three branches ? Who the President is ? What is the Constitution ? How is it constructed ? In recent days the 14th Amendment has been in the news, specifically § Three that precludes any "insurrectionist" from becoming President. That is meaning Donald Trump. A couple of weeks ago, the Colorado Supreme Court took the former President off its Primary Ballott.

Trump has since been restored in Colorado but the same stunt was attempted in California and Michigan but those states decided against banning Trump in their states. That was not the case with Maine, whose Attorney General, Shenna Bellows, has followed Colorado's lead and has also ordered Donald Trump's name not appear on the Pine Tree State Republican Primary Ballot either.


If people do not like the former President, they should say so. As it is happening, they have been speaking volumes. Ironically, all this genuflecting at the alter of Never Trump has been working in Trump's favor. A pattern is emerging. Every time the former President gets faced with some legal issue, he only prevails. His' are specious legal arguments, like § Three of the 14th Amendment as well as all the other charges in those liberal jurisdictions, the more Trump smells like a rose.


If anything, seeing Trump, day in and day out in one venue or another, in court, on the trail, or having his Primary slot cancelled at first in Colorado and now Maine, one could be getting the idea that there is a real fear that the former President could be the future President. Despite all this, despite all the previsions of the Justice system, despite the weaponization of the Justice system, are examples of how the system is not supposed to work.


These episodes are examples of voter interference. These legal elites along with the political elites would have difficulty in accepting a new Trump Administration. The so-called Biden inspired Global Rules-Based Order, which collapsed virtually from the beginning, Biden came into Office for the express purpose of reversing Trump. In that, Biden was all too successful. That is perhaps the main reason why his predecessor, after things are all said and done, could also be Biden's successor.

TEQUILA !

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Or, in other words, relax. Take a breath. De-compress. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
