Day Of Days. . .

(Day Of Days. . .)

January 6th, 2024 is the third anniversary of the date when, by that time "former" President Donald Trump incited a riot for people to go and storm the Capitol and prevent the Certification of 2020's Election results that showed that then Vice President Biden the winner. Donald Trump, however, was convinced that the election was stolen. But the result was what it had to be. Not because more people voted for Biden but because Trump could not be allowed to be re-elected. Fortunately, the pandemic engendered certain rule changes that Democrats used to their advantage, installing Joe Biden as President.

Of course, the reality is somewhat more mundane. Donald Trump did leave the White House in a good mood, but he did leave. He left with a feeling of un-finished business and, in plotting his return, he is doing what is required. He is speaking what he will do in 2025, if he gets re-elected. Drill baby drill. Close the border. Sanction the hell out of China and Iran. Make his tax cuts permanent. Re-assert American hegemony. Among other things.

Following President Biden's example, Trump could enact much of his own agenda by Executive Order, which should be easy as it would be the polar opposite of any Biden policy. Which were Trump policies in the first place. So, perhaps like President Grover Cleveland, who served two non-consecutive terms himself, Donald Trump could perhaps be the 45th and 47th President.

That being said, the need to prevent another Trump Administration remains as imperative as ever. This time, there is no pandemic to effect rule changes. President Biden, or whatever other Democrat, still has Big Media, Big Money, and Big Tech that would assist the Democrat candidate. President Biden himself is displaying certain deficiencies and a replacement is being considered. All the more so if the President is impeached.

January 6th was not the insurrection that Democrats need it to be. It was not a start of a new civil war. Certain states are attempting to expand Trump's role into something it was not so he can be charged with insurrection even though the former President has not been charged much less convicted. There is a need however to pretend that Trump's role was more pronounced. That is fine. It is good to pretend.
