A typical definition of the term "cartel" is a collective of interests involved in order to dominate some system at the expense of an individual. The term us in the news today as those that are dominating the narcotics and human smuggling. The hundred or so migrants that attempted to rush the border the other day, were at the border in the first place because of Mexican Cartel efforts. That being said, the collective efforts against former President Trump.

It has been noted that Trump could declare bankruptcy, an option the former President is loath to consider. But the worse scenario is that Trump loses everything, even Trump Tower as well as all his other New York properties and Mar-A=Lago. By Monday, Trump world could be under new management.

But this goes beyond Trump. A chilling effect is being cast over Big Apple real estate as the civil fraud judgement, where there was no actual fraud, was arbitrary and mercurial. Almost a half a billion in cash by Monday was a sum that Trump was never supposed to match and he might not. However, a merger between Trump's Truth Social and Trump Media Group has materialized.  As the company goes public, that would be a windfall for Trump. Talk about timing.

This might be a reversal of some sorts for Trump, who has said he can post the bond on time. That remains to be seen. This is not to say that anti-Trump forces are in any way mollified. And this cabal goes beyond James and the Judge. The entire Justice Department is also weaponized, not just against Trump but more broadly his supporters. Attorney General Merritt Garland is spearheading an effort to limit voter identification requirements.

To what end ? A lack of an ID makes confirming someone's eligibility to even cast a vote. That invariably would favor Democrats. Couple that to Democrats gains made available as a result of the Census counting illegal aliens, some 22 additional seats will be made available due to apportionment. And, as Republicans are likely to lose the House and its One Seat Majority, those new Democrat Members could place the Majority back in Democrat hands.

Now, these actions, not just against Trump but one can also say they are intent to prevent his return to the White House. Democrats are using fraud and other extraordinary measures to basically be illegal themselves. Be post-Constitutional.  People might again vote for Trump, but will be the Democrats that will be counting the most ballots.
