In any command arrangement, where a subordinate seeks to address a superior but is unable to do so under demands of standard protocol, the remark can be prefaced with "permission to speak ?"That gives allowance to proceed with the remark without violating the chain of command. Except for Donald Trump.


The former President as a part of his legal proceedings has been ordered by the Judge to not comment on the trial. Prosecutor witness Michael Cohen can gab all he wants but Trump is singularly unable to respond. Trump cannot speak in his own defense because he might say something in hid defense. As he puts it, the order is so unfair and un-Constitutional. He might be right but that is also irrelevant. Trump is always complaining that this should not happen in this country. The fact that it is, has already been explained. There are also other things that should not be happening.


There seems to be some confusion over basic right and wrong. A lack of any moral compass that is manifesting itself in the current state of protests, confused as they are. For example, it would be is "right" support Israel in a time of war. It would be correct to encourage Israel to finish Hamas. There should be no support for Hamas on these various campuses. The option here is that these people are either very confused, or someone has the bank-roll. Or both.


The argument has been that these are so-called "peaceful" protests. Like the ones from 2020 that burned Minneapolis. How peaceful was Kristallnacht (night of broken glass) ? How about the Night of the Long Knives ? What of the Nuremburg Laws themselves ? There has been a strain of anti-Semitism throughout but it can only be corrected when the problem is recognized.


One needs to be emphatic. No ambivalence like from the President that gives fettuccini a spine. There is evil in the world but it can only persist if "Good Men" do nothing. Therefore, allow these Pages to be un-equivocal. There is support for Israel and condemnation of Hamas. Those that have been involved in the pro-Hamas rallies, all with the same "tents," need to be arrested and perhaps expelled from their institutions and those various Administrators need to make that option clear.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
