There is the common phrase of taking things to a "logical" conclusion. Oftentimes, however, a "logical conclusion" is not logical at all. There can be a tendency to over play an instance to when a reaction gets so encompassing that over-reaction is common. New York District Armoney, Alvin Bragg is one who is having this reaction. After Day Two of Trump's Hush Money trial, where some 50 prospective jurors stated they would be unable to reach an un-biased conclusion in ruling on the former President, Trump came out and addressed reporters, Bragg is now charging that Trump could have violated his Gag Rule and the D.A. could charge Trump with contempt and even move to incarcerate the Defendant.


That being said, Trump should go on and attend son Barron's Gradation. Trump has been ordered to stay within the New York jurisdiction but of he is to be charged with contempt, Trump has nothing to lose by departing to see what an important date for any parent is. Barron Trump, in contrast to the more public faces of Don Jr., Eric. or Ivanka, Melenia Trump kept Barron largely from view.


Say that Donald Trump does decided to ignore the Bragg order and goes to the Graduation. Will Alvin Bragg send federal officers or some other law enforcement to raid Mar-A-Lago, again, and haul the proud father out in cuffs ? The optics of that moment will be speaking volumes. And, by design, while Trump is otherwise occupied, President Biden will be campaigning in Pennsylvania, touting his new tax plan.


It is appropriate. the day after "Tax" day that the President would release a several trillion dollar tax increase that would cost hundreds of thousands of jobs and cripple the American economy for years to come. And Biden has yet commit to s debate with Trump, despite wide-spread media attention.


And then there is the Near East with Israel set to respond to Iran's provocations in some fashion. Biden's "don't" admonitions is about as useless to the Tehran government as last weeks TV listings. And all the pro-Palestinian demonstrations that blocked traffic in a number of cities. But it is Donald Trump who might be put in jail. Because he could want to see his son graduate.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
