President Biden comments in the aftermath of the Trump guilty verdict. The former President called the whole process rigged. For his part, Biden said that was a dangerous expression. He said that Trump was, and no one is, above the law. Trump had a jury, twelve of his citizens, and he result was just. To say it was rigged ? For Mr. Biden and all those saying otherwise, the trial was rigged. It had to be.  The guilty verdict was carefully crafted and designed for this precise outcome. It is true that there has been significant fund-raising in the aftermath and a six point bounce in the polls but these advantages could be temporary because a significant number of prospective voters have said that with this conviction they would demur in voting for Trump.


The next significant "trial" of course will be that of Hunter Biden with his weapons and tax charges. Significantly more than a mis-construed business expense and adult film star some ten years ago. Like for Trump, Hunter and his legal team will be the best. Unlike Trump, however, Junior will be able to call any witness he wants. Junior's charges amount to making false statements in the acquisition of a weapon, false statements to a gun dealer and a count on in-eligibility of weapons ownership as Hunter Biden being an addict. Collectively, these charges could put the President's son in jail for 25 years and has a fine of $250,000 with three years of "supervised" release. There are also a series of tax allegations and also making "false statements to Congress."


That being said, Donald Trump be serving time in jail before Hunter Biden, Like the Trump trail was rigged to perhaps place him in jail, any Hunter proceedings could be "rigged" the other way, so that one can be reasonably confident of a verdict of "not-guilty." Reasonable doubt in a Hunter trial will be sought as opposed to what was not available for the former President.


What this leads to is the two-tiered Justice system, again because it has to be. Hunter Biden and his day in court will be more advantageous than Trump had for his. The Democrats might have eviscerated the Constitution in the pursuit of the former President but that was because they had to. It is being said that this November 5th will be the most important election in history, which was said about 2020, 2016 and even before that. Trump is saying as much, but that is probably ego more than anything else. These will the "final words" on the matter.

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. (Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences. Basically, it says that even with the best intentions, negative results sometimes happen. However, there are also instances when a negative result is precisely the desired outcome.
