A lot to un-pack. Start with "Leopold." In a classic Daffy Duck feature, "Birth of a Notion," Leopold is a dog that puts Daffy up in his house, owned by a mad scientist, a resemblance to Peter Lorre, who "needs a wishbone from a duck" for his experiments. While Daffy and the mad scientist jockey throughout the episode, flash back to the dog. "I'm Leopold, remember ? Some part I got in this picture. Phooey !"


The name represents people who were left out of events, like a Daffy Duck cartoon, or world events in Northeast Asia. In past years, as President Trump was dealing with Premier Xi Jinping. notably absent was North Korea's Kim Il Jong, a "Leopold" in other words. Today, it is Hunter Biden and the start of his various gun charges. However, because all the oxygen had been sucked by the Trump proceeding in New York, any Hunter proceeding was lost in the ether.


June 4th is also the Anniversary of the Battle of Midway. That engagement proved the turning point in the Pacific War. It can also be said that the campaign for President reached its own turning point. The Trump verdict is in the books and his popularity, as well as his fund-raising, has spiked. How will all this influence the Hunter Biden trial ? Will that infamous lap top be introduced by the prosecution ? Such an exposure will confirm the long-standing supposition that this computer, and the efforts to conceal its probity or to say it was a piece of Russian dis-information and "confirmed" by fifty or so former "intelligence" officials in October, 2020. This extends what was discussed the other day about "patterns of behavior."


Suppressing the laptop in 2020, the revelations of how the pandemic was mis-handled and the list goes on. A narrative had to be crafted that provided cover for the Biden Campaign then in 2020 and Hunter Biden now. The Biden Junior strategy is one of jury nullification or get one hung in the process. Options that were not available to Donald Trump.


The days of staying out of view are gone for Hunter Biden, in other words, do not call him "Leopold." If by some method he is actually found guilty and is sentenced to jail, what then might a sentence be for Donald Trump ? The Biden Jr. trial is set to take a couple of weeks. IT took six to convict the former President.

TEQUILA !

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences.
