(Less Than Zero)

The movie Less than Zero, was a 1987 release that stared Andrew McCarthy, Robert Downey Jr., and Jami Gertz. In a nut shell, the film chronicles drug use and vain attempts to get sober, how, in the end, everyone dies. Perhaps not through any drug use but President Biden is at a point at almost "less than zero." His cognitive decline is now on full display and has been concerning some law makers, as well as a article from the Wall Street JOURNAL. If one were to look for policies that are reflecting this state of mind, look no further than the results of Bidenomics.


The last read of the GDP had to be revised down to 1.3%. The ADP jobs report came in weaker than expected some 150,000 verses 175,000 or so. In an example of an economy in growing "distress," only 8.9 million jobs were "open" but that is a significant reduction from the 11-12 million positions that were open a few years ago.


That being said, it is the border that is orders of magnitude worse. Made worse by President Biden's so-called Executive Order to deal with the emergency. That is taking place with the news that a Venezuelan migrant is accused of shooting two police officers. In any event, the Directive, if implemented, would create even more chaos than exists now. Is the President closing the border ? No. Is he re-instating "remain in Mexico ?" No. Is he completing the wall ? Not in the least. Biden's idea of "securing the border," is to limit entry to only 2,500 or so. Meaning what ? A turnstile is set up and when the number of entrants passes the mechanism locks ?


The plan is a gimmick and, in an election year, when former President Trump has the commanding lead on immigration, a panicked White House comes up with this plan that only goes as far a virtue signal, and a weak one at that. In the meantime, the Hunter Biden trial is proceeding. It is probably now that the Biden's wish that plea deal from a few months ago was able to go through.


Tomorow is the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy Landings and the President is making an appearance. However, upon his arrival on the Continent, a "lid" was immediately called. When Ceremonies are held at the Five Beaches (Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, Sword), or the Cemetaries, will the President be able to hold his own among the British and Canadian delegations ?


At the very least, the President is confused. A closer examination could reveal a more serious condition. Any objective analyses could see that Biden can do another four years as President. The question to be asked is if Biden's condition is sufficient to not vote for Trump ?

(TEQUILA !) Happy Cinco de Mayo or May 5th. One can hope that a lot of you out there are awash in inebriation, seeking to mainline tequila shots or enjoying a nice margarita on the patio. Intended Consequences

(Intended Consequences) For those Readers who live in the Tri-State area, who had the earthquake this morning, just be still.  There is a postulate called the Law of Un-Intended Consequences.
