Obviously. the phrase refers to the lack of security at the Trump event in Butler where he was almost assassinated. There was a clear collapse in observation, allowing Crooks time on that roof to set up his shot. There is more to placing a round on a target than sighting through cross-hares on a rifle. Crooks would have had to gauge windage and elevation in order to be confidence he could put that round into Trump's head. That he only got the ear of the President can be seen as a matter of extreme luck.


With this cascade of failures, Secret Service head, Kimberly Cheatle finally resigned after an un-tenable position became evident after a testifying at a contentious House Hearing. That Cheatle got the job in the first place probably owed more to Biden nepotism than any talent the now ex-Director might have to manage such an Agency.


Holes in Trump's detail are only a part of the story. If one wants to talk about holes, the entire Biden Administration, and now the anointed successor, was never anything with substance. Joe Biden was brought into Office with what amounted to a Coup and he has been discarded in the same manner. Can the Vice President carry on ? She has been made the Savor of the Democrat Party but whether she can convert in the end remains to be seen.


Kamala Harris can get all the endorsements she needs. She can get all the delegates she needs. She can get all the money she needs. However, what the "Vice" President needs is a change in policy positions. Everything Harris is advocating are to the left of even President Biden. Over time, as those positions become more defined, it will be revealed that the socialist tendencies developed in the Biden White House, will be continued under Harris, if not enhanced.


However, what is one to make of the last almost for years with a declining President, with media cover, and no one to advise the public ? It was only after the Trump/Biden debate when the truth became clear and that was when the Coup of Democrat leaders began "scheming" for the President's departure. But what is missing is any tendency for statecraft.


It has been noted that Israeli Prime Minister is set to address a Joint Session of Congress. Vice President Harris, along with about 20 other Democrat will not be in attendance. A Jewish leader still at war with Hamas, would not play well in Muslim majority districts in Michigan or Minnesota. For her part, Harris is Indianapolis today.


The biggest holes, so to speak has been the Biden Administration, its banal attempt to mount a "successor," the media that has been running interference almost since Day One with the full faith and credit of the Democrat Party leadership. President Biden was compromised from the beginning, and it was spoken in dark corners. When things were exposed to the light of day, it was too late.

(Keeping The Faith ?) Happy Memorial Day ! This is the day when the nation pauses and recognizes the contributions of the men and women that strove, and often times perished in the defense of this country. How many campaigns and battles have been seen over the years with Americans in harms way. Theirs was not a pursuit of glory, necessarily but they are remembered as such. Siege Of The Alamo

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops. The garrison was finally reduced on March 6, 1836. However, the Texian defeat at the Alamo and another one at Goliad, bought time for General Sam Houston time to fall back and then face Santa Ana at San Jacinto. There, Houston's army surprised the Mexicans and yelling "Remember the Alamo, Remember Goliad !" all but wiped out the Mexican force.
