The 20-point lead Donald Trump held over Joe Biden as long since evaporated. along with President Biden.  Kamala Harris has filled the resulting vacuum with alacrity, fueled by the media narrative of her success. She is either tied with Trump or the former President might be a point ahead, well within the margin of error. At the moment, Harris has yet to give an in-depth interview. As it happens, today is the third anniversary of the surrender of Afghanistan, to which Vice President was the last in the room. For his part, Trump laid a wreath at Arlington.


This, among many other things, is what Donald Trump needs to expose. That being said, it will be the debates that will expose the Vice President and where she stands. The said occasions have not necessarily set in stone. It has been over a month since Harris took the reins and she has yet to be fully vetted. The debates were supposed to be the venue. If there is a question of participation on the part of Harris, Trump is thinking of skipping the ABC debate himself.


As the race stands, Trump can ill afford to miss any opportunity to expose the Vice President and that would include joining the Lion's Den at ABC. Trump needs total exposure. If Harris can stay out of the light, if she can avoid for as long as possible. She might be able to get away with it. The current controversary at ABC stems from the idea of whether mute mics will be allowed.


The truth of the matter is that Trump needs these debates more than Harris because he would be using the opportunity to expose Harris' radical positions. On the other hand, the Vice President does not really need such exposure. It is the reverse of Trump. Like President Biden before her, Vice President Harris can in essence remain in the basement, make some excuse in avoiding debates and allow the media to carry her.


So, if one side takes its ball and goes home, and Trump is not able to effectively counter, then all the endorsements from a Robert F. Kennedy Jr. or even a Tulsi Gabbard will not help. The public is accepting the Harris/Walz narrative. They are controlling the flow of information. That means the message. Having the right message wins elections.

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops.
