At the 1972 Munich Olympics, the entire Israeli delegation were murdered by Palestinian terrorists. There had been a botched attempt at a rescue by the German police, and were not able to save any of the athletes. In the wake of this tragedy, Israeli Prime Minister Golda Mier, sent a special squad from Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, called Shin Bet, that are responsible for most of Mossad's "wet work." The Munich perpetrators were in time identified and then eliminated.


In an operation that made the Munich mission pale in comparison, Israel has been systematically eliminating the leadership of both Hamaa and Hezbollah, by a combination of close in (pagers) and aerially. The Israeli Air Force has been striking targets in Lebanon where it killed Hezbollah head Hasan Nasrallah and a couple of others. In Iran itself, the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei seems to have moved into hiding and remains at a secure location within the country.


The efforts of Mossad to be able to target the Palestinian leaders took years to develop, It took a combination of signals and human intelligence to emplace the assets where they were activated. With con-current air assets, destroying no just personnel but also Hezbollah missile launch sites and associated ordinance. Taken collectively, these actions represent a "de-capitation" strike where the county's leadership is specifically targeted. Back in the day, AT&T had a commercial "Reach out and Touch Someone."


That being said, and while the Ayatollah might have to broadcast from a secure location, Iranian agents, if they are not trying to kill Donald Trump, they have been able to hack the former President and his campaign and send the haul to the Harris-Biden Campaign. Under some rules that might be considered an act of war.  At the very least, it is election interference, in a sense, its own de-capitation.


There are going to be a lot of un-happy people if Trump returns to Office. There is the phrase "foreign and domestic," but this is getting ridiculous. Iran, seeing its prestige in the region threatened by a possible Israeli-Saudi reproachment, gambled that Israel could be attacked from the south (the Hamas attack on October 7th that killed 1,200 Israels) and from the north (Hezbollah out from Lebanon). Both thrusts have been successfully parried.


And for Donald Trump ? It will be best if people try and be his friend. Otherwise. . .

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops.
