People talk about the Green New Deal as if it is something with which to aspire. Not might be something of a misnomer as the original New Deal was a failure. Not only was it a failure but the Great Depression persisted as a result. It was not until the advent of World War II that the American economy. The President at the time, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his Cabinet had made a pledge to "have a laboratory of experiments" What FDR was proposing was a massive  expansion of the welfare state, social security and so on. Some programs were ruled un-Constitutional which made President Roosevelt the first one to try and pack the Supreme Court.


Vice President finally went to the border. She made some brief comments, but she is there at a time when migrant crime has risen to 415,000 over all while one has 13,000 murders and some 15.000 rapes. Consequences of the open border policy. However, perhaps more "concerning" is that Harris is promising the same "laboratory of experiments." in her Administration as attempted by Roosvelt.


To start, Harris is looking to increase taxes some $5 trillion. That would be on top of the price controls, the corporate income tax increase, the capital gains increase and the tax on un-realize gains. Are these the "experiments" that had been championed by FDR so vigorously ? Did he, or any one of his advisors have any sense on the real state of the economy and any less government interventionist ?


President Roosevelt had a mis-cast reputation. The image of a kindly man with polio belied the fact that he was a patrician, that he knew he was of the elite and it was his "duty" to promote government action. Men such as Alger Hiss, Harry Hopkins, or Harry Dexter White were in fact Soviet agents and were in positions to advise the President. As with Vice President Harris. As with the original New Deal, Harris' Green New Deal with Senator Sanders, Al Gore and Joe Biden, share in the belief of climate "emergency." Vice President Harris will expend any and all resources to combat the issue.


Harris has been advocating for green socialism. No economic growth but a healthy dose of class warfare. Maximum re-distribution. Another slew of laboratory experiments. which had worked so well last time.

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops.
