There is a public face to everything and that is especially true with politics. The behind-the-scenes manufacturing of the Biden-Harris ticket in 2020 that kept Senators Sanders and Warren out of the Race and the endorsement of Congressman Clyburn, as well as the Big Three: media, money, and tech, put Joe Biden into the White House. However, only a few months ago and after the debate with Donald Trump, the Democrat Party cast him aside in favor of promoting Vice President Harris.


Now, it is exactly three weeks to Election Day and the Biden-Harris dynamic is fraying. President Biden remains "peeved" he was callously cast aside. His selection of Harris as his running mate checked boxes but did nothing to recommend her. Currently, the Biden-Harris relationship is strained, a lack of communication between the White House and the Harris Campaign. Staffers involved seem at times to be working at cross purposes.


To be sure. Biden does want Harris to win but it perhaps would be incorrect to suggest that Biden's support is un-equivocal. The President probably resents how he was cast aside and those who were responsible. Biden knew his cognitive abilities were in decline, but he did not expect to be thrown out like so much trash. In his mind he felt he could beat Trump and the polls had been reflecting that since his Presidency had begun. Sufficiently interesting was that Donald Trump had been the one that Biden preferred because Trump had no chance.


Now that Trump has a chance if not the advantage, the Biden-Harris exchange is being re-considered. The state of the race now, as tight as it is, opinion is that things could be better for the Democrat Ticket if Biden had been kept in place. At this point there was nothing to lose. However, President Biden's debate performance was such that his fate was decided by others by a series of cajoling and threats. It had been Nancy Pelosi that offered the choice of being dropped from the Campaign or dropped from the White House.


President Biden was a manufactured politician. So is Vice President Harris and so is the entire Biden Administration. Their collective goal can be distilled to green socialism. The pursuit of green policies in no small measure has caused much of current inflation. It had been a team effort between the White House and Capitol Hill. Now, that "team" seems to be un-raveling and if Vice President Harris does not win next month, all the re-criminations will come to the surface for all to see.

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops.
