If something can go wrong, it will. And, for the Biden Administration, it has. One can re-trace the litany all the way back to Afghanistan. But it is the here and now If Biden still wants to play "President," he needs to act in the role. For the moment, that is something Biden seems un-willing to do. He could be more active in disaster relief in the Southeast. He could make a better attempt to end the port strike. He could better support Israel in its struggle with Iran. Is the President involved with any of these things ? The answer is no. But he can support the un-sealing of another Trump indictment. Of everything that is going on. that has to be the most important.


The most pro-union President is being held hostage by, unions. Namely the Longshoreman Union. They are engaged in a work stoppage in ports from Portsmouth, Maine to Houston, Texas. That encompasses some 45,000 personnel. Like most other crises in the Biden Administration, this one could have been avoided. A major complaint of the Union is that inflation, the Biden-Harris inflation, has decimated the middle class, of which many of the dock workers are a part. To be sure, these workers have high salaries, but even then, high prices are still a problem. So, the main demand is a 77% increase in wages and an end to further automation. The union head has said he is prepared to tank the economy and, this close to an election, as this strike persists and effects become more evident, Biden's position as the most pro-union President could be altered.


The President could be more active with the Helene recovery. FEMA as it is, tasked with managing such emergencies had been underfunded due to the influx of Biden's illegal migrants. The only public figure on the ground has been Donald Trump who handed out water and pizza. Like everything else in the Administtation, the President only did the bare minimum. He does not offer moral support. He is not holding rallies. A cynic might come the conclusion that because these are largely "Red" states, such aid might be considered "conditional."


The Biden authorship of the Mid-East crisis is also established. His vain attempts to halt it are alco known. Fortunately for the campaign, Israel has ignored the President's counsel. The Israeli Defense Force remains in southern Lebanon destroying Hezbollah infrastructure. Israel has just endured almost 200 ballistic missiles had been launched from Iran. Now, it the turn of the Jewish State.


Any one of these crises would be a challenge to handle. That Biden has three simultaneously and is the worst prepared to manage, at least not before the Election. But hey. The Donald Trump indictment has been un-sealed. One must know what is important.

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops.
