Before one begins, one should know that Vice President Harris believes that Donald Trump is a fascist, and he is a danger. She could be right and as a consequence, vote for her. Such an argument is falling flat. Assume for a moment, however, that Trump does win just over a week from now, one can expect changes in behavior across the world. One that stands out is the United Nations. October 24th is called United Nations Day.
To the U.N. as well as the World Economic Council, the "Davos" crowd, another Trump Presidency would be catastrophic. Gone are the days when the green globalists of the Biden Administration and other Western powers advocated in 2021 that a new post-Trump order would be the way forward. That paradigm was shattered when the U.S. abandoned Afghanistan and all the problems that developed since. The Unted Nations had been impotent the whole time.
These Pages have never held the U.N in any great esteem. It has even gone as far as suggested that the U.N. Building be converted into East River condos, the organization itself re-located to Geneva. The U.N. has never been conducive to American interests and its own anti-Israel bent is infamous. When American policy makers defer to the United Nations, like Secretary of State Anthony in the incessant efforts to end of the Israel War, under the aegis of the U.N.
Donald Trump will not be showing such deference to the U.N. He will conduct his foreign policy independent of the U.N. The continuation of the Abaham Accords, a reproachment between Isarel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Tariffs will be applied to trade, especially with China. The Peoples' Republic would also be discouraged from attacking Taiwan. Sanctions will be re-applied to Iran and the Ukraine War could also be brought to an end.
The term "United Nations" does not appear in any initiatives. If Trump at some point finds that the U.N. could be useful, he could engage it, Otherwise, it will be an East River structure filled with international delegates that never pay for parking.
