Last Man Standing. . .
(Last Man Standing. . .)
It had to have been a coordinated effort. There are endless analogies to be applied at this moment. Much like the battle of annihilation that was being played out at Stalingrad in 1942, Donald Trump has faced the Challenge of Hercules and prevailed. His legal cases and his media relations have all been altered. Trump's most severe critics, both on air and in print, With the exceptions of The Wall Street JOURNAL and perhaps Fox News, the traditional legacy media, all in support of Vice President Harris and savaged former President Trump, calling him Hitler et al, now that he was re-elected by margin, a reckoning has begun.
For the 24-Hour cable news channels, CNN and MSNBC, their futures could be problematic. The MSNBC broadcast Morning Joe, hosts Joe Scarborough and co-host and wife Mika Brezenski, some of Trump's most vocal critics went to the President-Elect at his Palm Beach Estate and discovered he is no Hitler. That is not sitting well with others in the media. Certain stars of The View have been very critical of the Mar-a-Lago visit.
The Election of Trump is a rejection of the DEI or Critical Race Theory as was espoused by the channels by pejoratives "Fake news CNN" or "MSDNC" were named by President Trump or on-air talent like FNC's Sean Hannity. It would seem that Fox's reporting on Trump, and the President-Elect's interaction on the Network was to his benefit.
The other part of the strategy apart from the media was of course the lawfare efforts across the Justice Department. That has also ended. While Alvin Bragg thinks he can tilt at windmills till Trump leaves Office, the legal cases have been as big a failure as the media assaults. What happens now ?
The Fourth Estate and the American Judicial System are in crisis, one of their own makings. There was never anything special about him other than the fact that he is a very successful businessman and a TV star. There was no reason why could not make an attempt making a play for the White House. When he surprisingly won in 2026, people were caught off-guard.
Now that Trump has won again and has beaten all comers to do it, the question as to what happens now is being asked. The answer, so far, is that Trump does not seem to be Hitler. So far.
