The first criminal illegal aliens have been apprehended and some are in transport. In ICE actions across the country, over three hundred being arrested, proceeding apace. The task will be daunting as three hundred arresting and a C-17 Globemaster seen at Bliss AFB in El Paso boarding its capacity eighty passengers. That is good. Now only several million more individuals to be processed this manner.


At this rate, it will be the end of Vice President Vance's second term (should he be elected) before every illegal migrant gets processed out. This beginning is a piece meal application as to what will ultimately be required. An entire infrastructure will need to be established namely detention centers and much more than the occasional Globemaster flying to points un-known.


These mass deportations will be a central feature and by the time this Trump Administration concludes. At the same time, the President is still dealing with Members of his own Party that seem less than enthusiastic in embracing his program and his nominees. Defense Secretary Nominee Hegseth has been the most contensious though he is expected to be approved by the whole Senate perhaps today. Senator Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) are confirmed as "Nay" for Trump's selection to run the Pentagon.


What about Robert F. Kennedy Jr ? Or Tulsi Gabard ? There is a feeling that these Trump Nominees will do, once in Office everything the President would want. Kennedy Jr at Health and Human Services and Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, how will these selections be addressed ? What hesitations might arise for a Collins or Murkowski ? Would these Senators demur again because President Trump makes them un-comfortable ?


President Trump can be scary, but he is so convinced of the correctness of his course that nothing could dissuade its alteration. German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck was the same way. Deporting all the illegal aliens is the right thing to do. Confirming his Cabinet, regardless of controversy is the right thing to do.


Trump will be in Office until 2029 and, if Vice President Vance is elected in his own right, he could use the Cabinet the President is emplacing now, allowing for a certain continuity. And, perhaps by that time, the last flight of illegal aliens could be flown.

(Keeping The Faith ?) Happy Memorial Day ! This is the day when the nation pauses and recognizes the contributions of the men and women that strove, and often times perished in the defense of this country. How many campaigns and battles have been seen over the years with Americans in harms way. Theirs was not a pursuit of glory, necessarily but they are remembered as such. As an example, take the Joe Rosenthal photo of the "Iwo Jima Flag-raising," February 23rd, 1945. Most people know what that is and not a few have a copy on their wall. Three of those Marines survived Iwo Jima and went on a bond tour to promote that picture. The U.S. was able to fund the rest of the War off of that drive but the Marines in question did not fare well. Siege Of The Alamo

(Siege Of The Alamo) Any visitor to Downtown San Antonio will recognize the City's most famous landmark, the Alamo. An old Spanish mission that means "Cottonwood" in English was the site where the likes of Jim Bowie, William Barrett Travis and Davy Crockett and about another 185 Texians defended the Mission and its compound for thirteen days against the Army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and his 5,000 troops. The garrison was finally reduced on March 6, 1836. However, the Texian defeat at the Alamo and another one at Goliad, bought time for General Sam Houston time to fall back and then face Santa Ana at San Jacinto. There, Houston's army surprised the Mexicans and yelling "Remember the Alamo, Remember Goliad !" all but wiped out the Mexican force.
