Remember that Donald Trump was the "interference" candidate and then President. There has always been resistance against Trump like the endless lawfare from the previous campaign. The truth be told, President Trump remains a convicted felon. Now that he is back in Office, and attempting to effect policy on deportations and spending cuts, the Trump Administration is being sued by activist judges who think the Election is not over, that the proud traditions of Alvin Bragg, Leticia James, Fanny Willis. and Jack Smith, even Judge Merchan.


President Trump is holding high level phone calls with the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine. The most dangerous gangs are in the process of being deported into one of the harshest prisons on the planet. Is the maintenance of these criminals in this country really what these Judges are promoting ? Trump has issued a ban on transexuals serving in the Armed Forces that was also blocked.


There seems to a difference of opinion as to the limits to Judicial power. Judges cannot issue injunctions over this Trump policy or that and expect the President to comply. In the first place, these desist orders are frivolous and would not survive the Supreme Court. However, and this has been said many times. Under any other Chief Executive, such policy as mass deportation, would be seen as the prerogative of the President.


That is not the case with Donald Trump. It was never possible. What remedy is being sought by these Judges ? Have they been reduced to a Quixotic tilt at windmills, hoping to place limits on the President ? For his part, Trump has said he has never dis-regarded any Court order but at the same time, he complains that these are rogue jurists. They are so unfair and are relics of the last regime.


Games that get played with ritual that cannot be altered. What is one to do when reality is so abhorrent as to reject the truth. The truth is that Donald Trump is President and these Judges are planning on using what power they have but are finding that comparatively speaking, they can make noise but people would be deaf from the White House.

(Keeping The Faith ?) Happy Memorial Day ! This is the day when the nation pauses and recognizes the contributions of the men and women that strove, and often times perished in the defense of this country. How many campaigns and battles have been seen over the years with Americans in harms way. Theirs was not a pursuit of glory, necessarily but they are remembered as such. As an example, take the Joe Rosenthal photo of the "Iwo Jima Flag-raising," February 23rd, 1945. Most people know what that is and not a few have a copy on their wall. Three of those Marines survived Iwo Jima and went on a bond tour to promote that picture. Prime Garbage ?

(Prime Garbage ?) In the movie Down & Out in Beverly Hills , starring Nick Nolte and Richard Dreyfus, Nolte plays a Beverly Hills bum who gets taken in by Dreyfus' family. Things did not quite work out Nolte went back to the street but he wanted to take the family dog, Nolte was rummaging through some trash and telling the dog this was "prime garbage." For his part, the dog changed his mind and went back to the Dreyfus family. During the Trump event at Madison Square Garden, an opening act comedian made some remark disparaging Puerto Rico, calling it a "island of garbage." Naturally the media went to work, saying it could depress the Puerto Rican vote, especially in Pennsylvania. Then, the Island "Senator" came out and endorsed Trump.
