Society is replete with people who take themselves too seriously and or have too much time on their hands.  These are people who latch onto some issue. and in order to "make things right," days of rage or action. There probably no less boring words in the English language than action or rage. Action against what ? Rage, against what ? The target in these circumstances is Tesla, car, company and CEO. Elon Musk.


As one would know, Tesla is an electric car company, founded by Musk. If climate change is the issue people say, one would an electric car with no emissions is a desirable quantit0. However, Musk made an alliance with the Devil. The Devil is asking Musk to cut wage fraud and abuse, the DOGE mandate, Such an effort is offending sensibilities of those who "call to action and rage and burn and otherwise vandalize Tesla products.


The burnt cars. The attacked dealerships. Even Teals owners are being harassed. There is even a movement to sell all Tesla models, cause the stock to crash and bankrupt Tesla's creator. Are the sins of Elon Musk such as to mandate his destruction ? What is emerging is that this anti-Tesla activity is not some spontaneous flash-mob that gather a few people. These groups are well funded. They are organized.


The groups that are working against Tesla are also trying to influence the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election. Normally, a state court election would not garner much attention, but consequences of the result could be profound. The Badger State has a liberal Supreme Court, voted in last cycle. One of the liberal jurists is retiring allowing for a replacement to be voted. If another liberal is sat, Madison moves to re-district would allow for more Democrat districts. Even with maintenance of Congresswoman Stefanak in the House Republican Conference. Wisconsin could become out of reach for future Republican Presidential hopefuls.


The same bank-roll that is funding Tesla protests is also committing millions of dollars to Wisconsin. For his part, Elon Musk is making his own contributions to the conservative candidate but even Musk is matching the enormous inflows of leftist causes. That would be likes of George Soros and company.


If the liberal prevails on that election day, it will be the first piece of good news Democrats will have had for some weeks. Wisconsin will be theirs. Once again.

(Keeping The Faith ?) Happy Memorial Day ! This is the day when the nation pauses and recognizes the contributions of the men and women that strove, and often times perished in the defense of this country. How many campaigns and battles have been seen over the years with Americans in harms way. Theirs was not a pursuit of glory, necessarily but they are remembered as such. As an example, take the Joe Rosenthal photo of the "Iwo Jima Flag-raising," February 23rd, 1945. Most people know what that is and not a few have a copy on their wall. Three of those Marines survived Iwo Jima and went on a bond tour to promote that picture. Prime Garbage ?

(Prime Garbage ?) In the movie Down & Out in Beverly Hills , starring Nick Nolte and Richard Dreyfus, Nolte plays a Beverly Hills bum who gets taken in by Dreyfus' family. Things did not quite work out Nolte went back to the street but he wanted to take the family dog, Nolte was rummaging through some trash and telling the dog this was "prime garbage." For his part, the dog changed his mind and went back to the Dreyfus family. During the Trump event at Madison Square Garden, an opening act comedian made some remark disparaging Puerto Rico, calling it a "island of garbage." Naturally the media went to work, saying it could depress the Puerto Rican vote, especially in Pennsylvania. Then, the Island "Senator" came out and endorsed Trump.
